Arctic Wilderness and Expedition Guide

With a decade working as a nature and wilderness guide as a background, I have been developing a wide range of skills to travel in the Arctic and polar regions.

My photography journey began with the taste for adventure in the in the vast landscapes of Finnish Lapland.
It became obvious to me. Everyone sees nature’s buty and specificities in a unique way, and create different bonds with it. The bond I have created with nature have become a source of inspiration and creativity. It is this passion that lead me to start my journey in visual creation. Deeply inspired by nordic nature, culture, adventure and strong storytelling.

In 2020 I moved to the Archipelago of Svalbard, in order to graduate the praised Arctic Nature Guide program. It is there, that I discovered the unique and unbelievable Polar wildlife, pushing me into a new dimension of photography.

Guiding tours all year around in the unique Arctic surroundings of Svalbard has made me become a first row witness : the most beautiful, fragile and unique ecosystem our world has is here, and it is in a collapsing phase.
When Wildlife photography has become a sport, it has become my mission to center my nature photography work around empathy and observation.

My definition of Wildlife photography could be explained this way :

» Photographing wildlife in the Arctic requires more than basic photography interest. It is a demanding process, including patience, respect, chance, but mostly lots of empathy and animal knowledge «

Visual identity & Storytelling

My passion for photography goes beyond wildlife and nature.

I have always been a dreamer and an artist at heart. For quite some time, I was a musician and a songwriter.
Storytelling and aesthetics have always been something that I have been sensitive to.

Nowadays, my carreer as a photographer has lead me working on visual identities and art direction for various clients and personnal projects, such as food & fine dining, products and brands, craftmanship and historical reenactment.

The projects consist in establishing branding through storytelling.
